Chris & Cameron S. | Beach Wedding| Ocean Shores, WA
About two and a half years ago I posted a giveaway! Sometimes I do these if I am feeling generous. And what I ended up with was life long clients/friends!
Chris entered this give away almost immediately. He had just started following me from a shoot he saw me do with some local celebrities! I wanted to rig this give away so I would get to work with Chris and his boyfriend, but then HIS NAME WAS DRAWN! what are the chances?
When I reached out to inform him of his winning, he reported HE WAS ENGAGED!! Even better. This was an incredible opportunity for Chris and his Fiancé Cameron.
Just wait, it gets better….
Not only are these two people amazing, but Chris is also a Farmer! and they’re HUGE Seahawks Fans! So we planned on meeting at Pioneer square and shooting around the stadium. Chris and Cameron, of COURSE, had matching jerseys and were all ready to go :)
THEN!!! as we are walking around Pioneer Square and the stadium…IT BEGINS SNOWING!!…We began thinking it was just a drizzle of snow that wouldn’t stick. But low and behold. It was the beginning of the biggest snow western Washington had seen in a LONG time. It was the perfect setting for us.
They weathered the storm, and then only a few months later. Chris and Cameron Asked me to SHOOT THEIR WEDDING!
Of course, you know I said yes, and was given this awesome opportunity.
So you probably know where this is going at this point, as I am writing this blog in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. But poor Chris and Cameron had to postpone their wedding…I was disappointed but understood because well…we don’t want COVID. But then Chris reached out and said “we couldn’t wait, would you come to Ocean Shores with us for our Elopement?”
DUH!!! So I took my mom with me, and the dogs and made a whole weekend out of it! Ocean Shores has this big beautiful Long Beach that you can drive on, have fires on, and enjoy the ocean. I was grateful these men decided to have their wedding here because it was just beautiful. Ocean Shores, WA is a great place to do an affordable, beach wedding in the summer.
