Mini Boudoir Story | Celeste | Phoenix, AZ

Celeste and I have followed each other on social media for a long time! She found my page after a photoshoot meet up I did while we were BOTH living in Washington State. She then moved to Arizona, then I MOVED to Arizona. So I guess that it was then meant to be when I posted a model call for Phoenix boudoir!

So, she reached out, eager to capture a moment that would forever remind her of her journey as not only a beautiful soul but a beautiful mother. This photoshoot became much more than just a model call s; it became an opportunity for Celeste to truly embrace her postpartum body and feel empowered.

Through this photoshoot, Celeste realized the importance of self-love and acceptance. As we were shooting I could see her recognizing the incredible strength and beauty that her body possesses and how beautiful she is. From the moment Celeste stepped in front of the camera, her confidence grew, and she began to glow. With each click of the shutter, her empowered self began to shine through more and more.

Throughout the session, Celeste embraced her body, to its fullest extent. The marks on her body, that held memories and stories of her children and life. She moved with such grace, even when filled with giggles, her body language communicating a profound love and acceptance of herself.

As I snapped each photo, it was evident that this was not only a celebration of Celeste's individual journey but also an invitation to all humans to embrace their bodies and feel empowered. Through her images, we wanted to inspire other humans to see themselves in a confident light, and to find space to feel self love and comfort in their bodies.

Celeste's experience reminded me of the transformative power of photography and the safe space I can provide. In this particular shoot, my camera served as a tool to document Celeste’s journey towards loving herself. As we wrapped up the session, Celeste radiated confidence. She had braved vulnerability and had come out stronger on the other side.
