Morea & Johnny | The Grand Willow Inn | Mount Vernon, WA

What do you see your perfect wedding day as?

Do willows, sunshine, and tulips sound lovely?

Well for Morea and Johnny it was a dream come true wedding. After a run of sad grey weather, the day of drive up to Mount Vernon Washington was clear, sunny and blue. And if youre from the PNW it was a “the mountain was out” type of day. Also, a wedding in Mount Vernon in the spring is GORGEOUS because you have the tulip traditions all around you to enjoy and make sure to feature in your day of.

But anyway, about a year ago I photographed Anna and Josh’s wedding, which is where I met Anna’s younger brother Johnny. And Johnnys girlfriend (at the time) Morea. I had heard whispers around the wedding that Johnny and Morea were talking about getting married, and Morea was just the sweetest human that whole day! Then what do you know just a few short months later I get a text from Anna….”My brother is engaged!”

Being able to stay an “in the family” photography makes my heart so warm and happy. The fact that Anna shared my contact info made me feel supported in so many ways. But anyways! Morea and Johnny reached out to me and we chatted about doing their wedding in the spring.

After long distance planning, and Morea’s moms wedding skills coming in handing their wedding was set up so beautifully and ended up being one of the most gorgeous days.

Some of the features of this incredible wedding. [Besides the bride and groom of course] Was the venue.

The Grand Willow Inn

Every one on the team at Grand Willow Inn was amazing. The day of coordinators, the DJ, the catering teams and whomever takes care of the grounds where incredible It was so special to have a beautiful area and in a place that isn’t even that far! The Grand Willow had beautiful spaces indoor and outdoor areas that people can create a gorgeous wedding no matter what they need. The floral, the willow threes, it was just stunning over all.

Of course this day was special as Johnny and Morea do not live close and they were able to connect with friends and family they may not be able to see on a regular basis. It felt like I was part of the family, and was DEF a great time.

So congrats Morea and Johnny, Your wedding was BEAUTIFUL!
