“We stayed in a TREEHOUSE!”
So literally we stayed in a treehouse. Kelly invited me a few weeks ago to join her on an Index Cabins stay. As I pulled into this property I had no idea what I was about to witness. It was ACTUALLY IN THE TREE. We had no idea that what we were going to stay in was 13 feet off the ground.
In the video that Kelly has created for Local Lens Seattle she highlights features of this house that we LOVED! These include the cozy king size bed, incredible designer kitchen, and lovely views of the river.
Ever see those Tiktoks of people in a hot tub in the mountains of central washington. WELL THATS THIS PROPERTY. Nick and his family have created an incredibly welcoming property. Coming into the “Pietsch Pit” was so cute and magical, it felt like jumping into a fairy world, or even better and instagrammers DREAM land.
So Here are some of my favorite instagramable moments from the index cabins featuring our stay at the Treeframe cabin …IN. A. TREE.
The “work-from-home-ability”
We decided a stay at the tree frame cabin would be a perfect spot if you needed we week to just relax and work from home. Bring your laptop, plug in and no longer need a green screen background, because nature is literally actually all around you. As nick says “its like you’re staying inside the trunk of the tree”.
They told us a story of a gentleman from New York who recently stay there. They said he was dropped off in a taxi, and stayed there for a week and never left. GOALS. Straight work from home vibes.
The Relaxation Factor
We never wanted to leave our king size bed. We just laid there for few hours in the morning and relaxed HARD. We struggled to get ourselves moving thats for sure. In addition to the king size bed, there is a hot tub under the house that is covered by beautiful lights. It is the best for relaxing with a glass of wine, and charcuterie.
The Adventure Factor
The adventure factor is KEY in this stay. Nick and his family own a large chunk of this property and have created trails, and riverside sitting areas all over the space. So you don’t even have to leave to adventure. You can just walk down those stairs to get into beautiful scenery. Beyond the property and in the town of index, there is incredible coffee shops like the Espresso Chalet, and burgers just a way down at Zekes. So why not adventure!
