Anna + Joshua | Deception Pass Elopement | Oak Harbor, WA

Its amazing how word of mouth flows, I met Anna quite some time ago through my very good friend Kat. Anna does Kat’s incredible hair, she’s done everything from blue tips, to icy blondes and reds…Well anyway.

Before Anna ever met Josh I did an incredible boudoir session for her and we instantly bonded. Then not long after she met her NOW husband, Josh, we did a family session with her pupper “Dapper” and Josh’s son. They were so cool, they wanted their photos at the abandoned mental hospital, how rad is that?! They turned out fantastic.

Then what do ya know only a year-ish later, I got word that Anna and Josh were ENGAGED. Then not long after they asked me to meet with them to talk about wedding photography.

They had such a special plan for their wedding. They wanted engagement photos to start, then they were going to ELOPEE!! I was so excited for this because with Elopements I get to be more creative and there is wayyyy less pressure.

Pacific northwest Elopements are even BETTER because the landscape here are incredible. I even lucked out that on their special day it was FOGGY AND GREY! If you haven’t noticed already…..thats kinda my jam.

They only had a few very close and special friends (…and DUH the dog). Anna wore the most beautiful dark GREEN dress. They had such special small details that I just fell in love with this fall elopement.

If you are thinking about eloping, you have a lot of expectations to meet. This one has taken the trophy home for now!! The personal touches and love that Anna and Josh shared with their small group was so intimate and precious. I cannot wait for their reception I now it is just going to be fantastic.
